Research Assistant

The BACE Research Assistant will provide operational and technical support to a research team, assisting with project tasks to ensure the timely and accurate achievement of study objectives. The role contributes to survey marketing, data management, and the maintenance of research records, ensuring quality and compliance.

Specific tasks will include day-to-day research tasks, including participant recruitment, data collection, and initial data handling. The role requires regular coordination with team members, proactive problem-solving to address data or logistical issues, and clear communication of progress and findings to senior researchers.

Key Responsibilities
*Participant Outreach & Recruitment: Develop and execute outreach strategies (e.g., email outreach, digital campaigns, tabling) to engage diverse and hard-to-reach populations. *Survey Administration: Test and deploy surveys using platforms like Qualtrics, ensuring optimal user experience and high response rates.
*Data Collection & Management: Monitor survey fielding, conduct quality assurance (QA) checks, clean incoming data, and maintain secure participant databases in compliance with IRB protocols. *Communications: Manage project inboxes, draft participant communications (newsletters, reminders, incentives), and field inquiries from distribution partners and participants.
*Reporting: Prepare weekly recruitment metrics, response rate reports, and preliminary descriptive statistics for the research team.

Other Duties Could Include
*Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to support study design and reporting.
*Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for research team and/or external stakeholders.
